St Michael and All Angels was a parish church in the Parish of Woolwich until 2014, when the building was sold to a Ghanaian pentecostal church. St Michael’s had a very mixed congregation. Although the congregation was not large, everyone was friendly and welcoming, and there was  usually a number of children who attend each service. St Michael’s was of a higher Anglican tradition than St Mary’s, but still had a mixture of both traditional and modern styles of music, and on the third Sunday of each month a Family Communion. The congregation was sad to let go of a much loved building, but also glad that it was purchased by another church, and continues to be used for Christian worship.

Many of the lovely items that were in St Michael's Church are now in St Mary's Church, including the Stations of the Cross. Other items were given to St Mary Magdalene School, and other churches, or sold. Members of St Michael's now attend St Mary's Church or other churches in the area, and the hymn books from St Michael's are used regularly at St Mary's. The congregation of St Michael's were much loved and will always be remembered.

St Micheal and All Angels Church had and still has a beautiful set of stain glass windows behind the high altar featuring nine different angels. To see the window click here.
