The Church of England has put worship resources on its website and on an app, so you can join in daily prayer with your Christians brothers and sisters on your laptop, tablet, or phone wherever you are. These are:
Daily Prayer
On the CofE website, you can join in morning prayer, evening prayer, and night prayer, updated for each day. You can also say a daily prayer, which you can listen to as well as read. Also, you will find the full resources of the CofE worship book, Common Worship. Click here for this page.
Time to Pray
I recommend that you download to your phone the CofE app, Time to Pray. It is free, and will enable you to join in Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer, and Night Prayer from your smart phone. I will be using this each day. Click here to read about this on the CofE website.
Time to Pray Audio
You can also listen to the services of Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer and Night Prayer (Compline) in audio on the CofE website. Go to this page and scroll to the bottom of the page to find this.
There are other online and broadcast worship resources too:
BBC Radio 4 Sunday Worship
At 8.10am every Sunday, BBC Radio 4 broadcasts a full service from a different church. You can log onto the relevant page on your phone or tablet here, and you can listen to the service on your device or on Radio. You can follow all the details of the service on your phone or tablet, including the hymns, prayers, and readings. You can also listen to previous weeks services.
BBC 1 Morning Worship
At 10.45am every Sunday, BBC 1 broadcasts a full service from a different church. You can find all the details online here. Or just watch on TV.
Bible Gateway
If you would like to read the Bible online for free, just click on Bible Gateway to read it in which ever version you prefer. There is also a daily verse for you to reflect on.
Daily Light Daily Path
For daily Biblical devotional readings by Samuel Bagster click on Daily Light Daily Path. These are wonderful collections of scripture verses for the morning and evening of each day in the year.
