ST MARY MAGDALENE CHURCH
A place of Christian worship for over 1000 years!
ABOUT OUR CHURCH
St Mary Magdalene Church is part of the Church of England in the Diocese of Southwark. A church has been on the present site for over 1000 years! Woolwich is in S.E. London, and is a historic town of approximately 25,000 people. Our church is named after one of Jesus’ closest followers, Mary Magdalene. Central to our mission is: ‘Faith, Hope and Love’. We consider ourselves to be in the centre of Anglican tradition and try to reach out to and serve all the peoples of Woolwich.
The Sunday Service is at 10.00am every week. You are very welcome to join us on any Sunday. Children are very welcome to attend our services, and if they are between the ages of 4-
As a church, we take the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults, and domestic abuse very seriously. You can look at the Diocesan Safeguarding Policy here. If you wish to talk to someone, our parish safeguarding officers are Celestina Madubuobi (email@example.com), Wunmi Somade (Sekto31@msn.com), and Louise van der Valk (Louisevdv2@aol.com). Click here for the page on this site where you can find our Parish Safeguarding Policy.
Wishing you a very Happy and Healthy
New Year in 2022!
